The Story
Anaโs mother asked her for a simple favor: go to the local flower shop and pick up a fertilizer. But something is wrong inside the shop. Help Ana survive.

A Note from the Developer
This game was in the middle of development when my keyboard broke.
To finish and release it, I had to simplify the project and work using only my mouse and the Windows Virtual Keyboard.
I am releasing it now to try and raise funds for a new keyboard, and I will continue releasing free games here on Itch.io to, hopefully, save enough for the Steam publishing fee for my next game.

Is Petal coming to Steam in the future?
Yeah, I want to put the game there, but I think according to Steam's rules you can't make a game available on other stores for free while charging for it on Steam. I want to add more content to Petal and maybe make a downloadable version or something.
Amazed that this was your first game! Very interesting art style and the story was interesting. Some more story beats would be nice and the "monster" couldve been scarier but all in all v impressed and original. 4/5
I was in this prototype hell for a long time, just making projects and abandoning them. This was me trying to do something simple and just finish it. I intend to redo some things and add more content to Petal, but I have some interesting prototypes that I will finally finish. Thanks for your feedback, releasing this is being a good thing for getting more confidence to make my games.

They were two debug tests I put in the code at the beginning of development. Thank you for pointing that out, I removed these two.
Hey! Thanks for reporting. This was an issue with the SharedArrayBuffer setting on Itch.io, which is required for Godot web exports. I've just enabled it, so it should be fixed now. Sorry about that, and let me know if it works!
It works now. I just beat it. It is a good game and I urge you to add a few more tags such as Horror ones so that people can actually find it in search easier.
I think tags such as โcuteโ or โstealthโ would help as well.
